Thanks and acknowledgements

30 April 2013

Now that we have completed our second full issue, I have many people to thank; first, my editorial board has been very helpful with a number of decisions and with setting the tone and the direction of the journal.

We could not have gotten to this stage, the completion of Volume 2, without the able help of my staff:

Julie Platt, Michigan State University

André Favors, The University of Memphis (then in his role as reviews editor)

I’d also like to thank Katelin Edge for her hard work in her stint as web editor who leaves us for the New School and a MFA in creative writing; and Jennifer Page who served as my editorial assistant and had to resign in order to complete her dissertation. We wish them both great luck as they write.

And finally, I would like to thank my authors and my reviewers. Without them, no academic journal worth its salt would ever be possible. They have been patient and generous as we collectively struggled through our review process.

Preparing this issue has been nothing but joy. I hope it is enjoyable to you as well.

Respectfully yours,
